Black Pepper Cheese Logs
Makes about 1 cup.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1-tablespoon milk
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
Coarsely ground black pepper

Combine first 5 ingredients. Shape mixture into two 5-inch logs. Roll in coarsely ground black pepper. Cover and chill at least 3 hours. Serve with assorted crackers.

Spiced Cranberry Sauce
Makes 1 3/4 cups

1- package (12 ounces) cranberries
1-cup sugar
1-cup water
1 McCormick Cinnamon Stick, 3 inches long
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Orange Peel
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract

Place all ingredients except vanilla in large saucepan. Stir to combine. Heat to boil, reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes or until very thick, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside to cool to room temperature. Remove and discard cinnamon stick and stir in vanilla. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Tip: Serve with poultry or ham.

Peppered Pecans
Makes 3 cups.

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 cloves garlic -- minced
1 1/2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1/2-teaspoon salt
3 cups pecan halves

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter in a small skillet; add hot sauce, garlic and salt. Cook 1 minute. Toss pecans with butter mixture; spread in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake about 1 hour or until pecans are crisp, stirring occasionally.
