Fish prepared with yogurt and spices

1 LB of Rahu Fish cut in cubes (Or any other fish according to availability)
2 cups of smoothly blended Yogurt /curd
4 tbsp. of Mustard Oil
A handful of Flour
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cinnamon
1 Cardamom
1 big onion & 1 small piece of Ginger (grounded to paste)
2 tsp. Chilly Powder
1 tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Cumin Powder
1 tsp. Sugar
Salt according to taste


Serve with Rice or Chapatti
Method 1. Roll the pieces of chicken separately in flour. Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in a pan and fry fish till pale golden. Drain and keep aside. Add remaining oil and fry bay leaf, cardamom and cinnamon. Add ginger, onion, chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and a little water if it becomes too dry. Fry for a while. Add blended yogurt/ curd and Simmer on slow fire till oil comes up on top. Add fish with a little water, salt and sugar. Simmer till gravy is thick golden.

Nawabi Curry Rich Curry served with koftas

Ingredients For Koftas:
1/2 cup grated bottle gourd
1 tbsp. Gram flour
Salt according to taste
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Oil to deep fry
For Gravy:
3 large chopped tomatoes
100 GMS mixed boiled vegetables
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. oil
Salt according to taste
To be ground into a paste:
1 large onion
1 tbsp. coriander seeds
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
2 tsp. Aniseed
I tsp. Ginger
2 green chilies
3 cardamoms
3 cloves
3 sticks cinnamon

Serve with Plain parathas
For the koftas squeeze water from the grated gourd and add all other ingredients for Koftas, except oil. Make small round shaped balls and fry till golden. Heat the oil and fry the grounded paste for 5 minutes. For the gravy add chopped tomatoes to 1 1/2 teacups of water and cook until soft. Add the vegetables, sugar and salt. As the gravy thickens add the koftas & serve hot.

Ingredients
6 Eggs
2 nos. Chopped onions
2Chopped tomatoes
3 Finely chopped green chilies
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper according to taste


Serve with Serve hot with parathas

Beat the eggs and add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Heat oil in a frying pan and add a portion of the mixture to make one omelet. Cook over slow flame till mixture is firm and flip it over and cook on the other side. Repeat the method to cook the remaining mixture.
